Why I Take Short Clips
While we train where triggers happen — your home, Sea Point Promenade, park, or beach — I sometimes take short 10-60 sec clips from behind or the side. This helps me:
– Show you what we practiced that day so you can repeat it
– Catch small changes — happy tail wags, new confidence, stress signs — easier to show than explain
– Create quick helpful tips for other dog parents in Cape Town
Your privacy is always first: I film from behind/side. No faces of owners, no kids, no house numbers, no street names. Just the magic between you and your dog.
How I Might Share Them (Only With Your Continued Trust)
I love sharing anonymous, tasteful training moments on my website, Instagram, Facebook, Google Business, and YouTube to help other reactive, anxious, and puppy parents learn.
Goal: Spread love for dogs, share free tips, and celebrate your dog being a rockstar. Never to embarrass.
If you are ever not 100% comfortable with a clip, just WhatsApp me: “private only” or “no social please” and I delete it from public — no questions asked, same day.
Your Choice, Always
By booking, continuing, or paying for any session, class, or coaching with DOG TRAINER OJGOLDENRETRIEVER / FashionistDogWhisperer, you understand and agree to this simple behind-the-scenes policy:
In plain, friendly legal terms:
1. You give me permission to record short video/photos during our sessions where you and your dog appear from behind/side, with no identifiable faces or private home details, for my private training records and occasional public educational/marketing use.
2. No faces, no identity. I will not use clips showing your face, your family’s faces, or your exact address without your separate written yes. Clips are anonymized.
3. Yours to stop anytime. You can withdraw public sharing permission anytime by WhatsApp or email. I will remove public posts within 7 days. Private training records for your dog may be kept securely.
4. No payment for clips. These short educational clips are part of my free tips to the community. No fee, royalty, or compensation is due for their use.
5. You still own your dog, I own my work.* You remain responsible for your dog. My tips and videos are for education, not a guarantee of results. You agree not to hold me liable for use of anonymized clips as described here.
6. South African Law. This policy follows POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act). I store clips securely and never sell your data.
This agreement is effective when you book. It stays effective unless you tell me in writing you want to change it to private-only.
Want private only from day one? Totally okay! Just tell me before our first session: “Fashionist Dog Whisperer, private sessions only” and I will never post any clip of your dog publicly. You will still get private videos for your own learning.
